HOW TO GET HERE

The Sowewankeri Amazon Healing Centre is located in the Amazon rainforest, one and a half hour from the city of Puerto Maldonado, which is the capital of the Department of Madre de Dios, Peru.

There are two ways to get to Puerto Maldonado city:
1.    By plane, through Lima or Cusco (Note: all the flights Lima - Puerto Maldonado make a 30 minute stop in Cusco), or
2.    By bus, from Cusco (18 hours in the dry season) or Puno (18 hours in the dry season).

In either case, we will be waiting for your arrival to accompany you to the Centre.
